# Minitap > Minitap makes mini, an AI QA agent for consumer iOS, Android and web apps. mini learns your product from the app, your code, specs and tickets. It writes your regression tests itself, runs them on simulators, emulators and browsers, and on physical phones on request, and keeps them current as the product changes. Each test is a scenario plus acceptance criteria: no scripts, selectors or steps. Built for enterprise QA and engineering teams. Your team decides what ships. The full product brief for AI assistants and agents, from https://www.minitap.ai. The short index is at https://www.minitap.ai/llms.txt. ## At a glance - What: Minitap makes mini, an AI QA agent that writes, runs and maintains regression tests for iOS, Android and web apps. - For: Enterprises that ship consumer mobile and web apps at scale: QA leaders and teams, engineering leaders, app developers, and platform and DevOps teams. - Apps: Native iOS and Android apps built with Swift, Kotlin, React Native or Flutter, and web apps from a staging or preview URL, in desktop and mobile browsers. - Tests: mini writes each test itself as a scenario plus acceptance criteria, and adds, edits and deletes tests as your code, specs and tickets change. Tests have no selectors, so a moved button doesn’t break one. - Hard flows: Up to 3 iOS or Android devices in one test, cross-app flows, mocked GPS, offline mid-run on Android and web, email codes and magic links, and test data seeded through your test endpoints. - Beyond pass or fail: mini flags bugs no test asked about, suggests UI/UX improvements and asks your team in Slack when context is missing. - Integrations: Native GitHub: a comment on every pull request to your main or release branches, a check on every run, and a GitHub Action. Any other CI runs mini through the CLI. Connect GitLab or Bitbucket and mini builds and tests the repository. Notion for specs; Jira and Linear tickets on request. Slack. A CLI and an MCP server for coding agents. - Devices: iOS simulators and Android emulators in the cloud, plus physical iPhones and Android phones, enabled per workspace on request. - Browsers: Chrome and Firefox at desktop, tablet and mobile sizes; Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. Edge is not supported. - Accessibility: WCAG 2.2 A and AA audits of iOS and Android apps, included on every plan and switched on per workspace on request. Web apps are not audited. - Hosting: Team and Scale run on Minitap’s managed cloud, hosted in the EU or the US, your choice. On Enterprise it can also run in your cloud, on-premise or as a dedicated instance. Model providers and some subprocessors may process data in other regions under standard contractual clauses; the list is in the trust center. - Uptime: 99.5% monthly uptime: a target on Team and Scale, and a commitment with service credits on Enterprise. Live status and incident history at status.minitap.ai. - Compliance: SOC 2 Type II audit in progress. GDPR in progress. - Pricing: Three quote-based plans, Team, Scale and Enterprise, sized by capacity: full regression suites a month and parallel devices and browsers. Every user, build, recording and report is included, and the price is set on a call. - Start: Book a demo at https://cal.com/team/minitap/minitap-get-access?overlayCalendar=true, or click through a real run with no signup at https://www.minitap.ai/demo. ## What mini does - Learns your app: mini does the homework first. It explores your app and reads your specs, tickets, code, bug reports and existing tests. Then it writes your suite. - Maintenance: Tests that keep up with your code. mini tracks your code, specs and tickets. It adds, edits and deletes tests to match, and your team reviews every change. - No flaky tests: Move a button. The test still passes. mini’s tests have no selectors to break. It reads the screen on every run, finds the new path and checks the same outcome. - Proactive: mini speaks up before you ask. It flags bugs no test asked about, suggests UI/UX improvements and asks your team in Slack when context is missing. Accessibility audits come with every plan. On request, mini checks your iOS and Android apps against WCAG 2.2 too. ## How a test works - Each test is a scenario in plain words plus acceptance criteria, the things that must be true. mini writes the tests itself, with no scripts, selectors or step lists. Your team can add or edit a scenario in plain words. - On every run, mini works out how to reach the goal on the current screen, then checks each acceptance criterion. Each verdict links to the exact moment in the recording. - On a pull request, mini tests only the journeys the change puts at risk. Before a release, it runs the full regression on iOS, Android and web. - Every finding comes with the recording, a screenshot, expected versus actual, steps to reproduce and a prompt to fix for coding agents such as Cursor or Claude Code. - Mark a finding “Not a bug” once and mini won’t raise it again. - Your team sets what blocks a merge and approves each release. - In Minitap’s docs and CLI the product is called miniTest (command: minitest) and a test is a user story; the app lists tests under Scenarios, and the GitHub check is named Minitest. ## False positives and flaky results - Before mini fails a criterion, it rules out its own input, the network and the starting state. - If Minitap’s infrastructure fails, the test re-runs on a fresh worker, and a run lost to our infrastructure is never charged. ## Hard flows mini handles - Up to 3 iOS or Android devices running the same app in one test, for flows like a parent and a child phone, or two users in one chat. - Cross-app flows, such as a parental-control app blocking Chrome on a child’s phone until the parent grants more time. - GPS locations and routes mocked on iOS simulators and Android emulators, for geofences and maps. - Going offline and back online mid-run, on Android and web. - Test accounts saved per app and checked before each run, plus email codes and magic links read from mini’s own QA inboxes. - Test data seeded through your app’s test endpoints, then checked on screen. - Deep links on iOS, Android and web; permissions and dark mode on simulators and emulators; push notifications on iOS simulators; low battery on Android emulators. ## Beyond pass or fail - UI/UX suggestions: overlapping elements, buried actions and confusing states, each with the screenshot, screen and platform, grouped across runs. Turn one into a ticket or dismiss it. - Chat: in the Minitap app, ask mini about any report or finding, or ask it to cover a new flow. It answers with your app’s context. ## Accessibility testing - WCAG 2.2 A and AA audits of iOS and Android apps, included on every plan and switched on per workspace on request. Web apps are not audited. mini audits each screen a run reaches, beside the test, so the run takes no longer. - Contrast, touch targets, labels and roles are measured, so no model decides them. Each fail shows the measurement, for example 3.2:1 measured against 4.5:1 required. - Where a criterion needs judgement, like color carrying meaning on its own, mini proposes an answer and your team confirms or dismisses it. - What a phone run can’t check, like external keyboard focus, is reported as Not checked, with the reason. - The report shows every screen with its failing elements boxed, a WCAG 2.2 conformance table, and what is new, fixed or still failing since the last audited build. It exports as a PDF. - The audit is evidence your team builds release after release, not a legal certificate or a third-party audit. It helps with the European Accessibility Act, which has applied since 28 June 2025, and with the ADA in the US. ## Platforms, devices and browsers - Apps: Native iOS and Android apps built with Swift, Kotlin, React Native or Flutter, and web apps from a staging or preview URL, in desktop and mobile browsers. - Parallel runs: Phones and browsers run in parallel. Your plan sets how many, and capacity can be extended. - Builds: upload an iOS simulator build, or an Android .apk with x86-64 libraries or an .apks, from your CI; Android App Bundles (.aab) are not accepted. Physical iPhones install from TestFlight. Or let mini build your app from your repository. - Every run is recorded, with runtime logs. - Out of scope today: tablet devices (web runs do cover tablet-sized viewports); watch and TV apps; Face ID, fingerprint, NFC and Bluetooth; camera input on phones; network toggling on iOS; real SMS, calls and payments; checks against your database or server logs (mini judges what the screen shows); and security, penetration, load and performance testing. The full list per platform: https://www.minitap.ai/docs/minitest/reference/capabilities.md ## Integrations - Code and CI: GitHub is native. mini comments on every pull request to your main or release branches and posts a check on every run, and the GitHub Action starts runs and gates releases. The check informs by default; your team turns on blocking. Any other CI (GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, CircleCI, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines) runs mini through the CLI. Connect GitLab or Bitbucket and mini builds and tests the repository; pull request comments and checks are GitHub only. - Specs and tickets: mini reads the specs and PRDs your team keeps in Notion. Jira and Linear tickets, read for context or filed from a finding, are on request. - Slack: mention mini to start a run, and results come back in the thread. mini asks your team there when requirements are unclear, then reuses the answer. - Coding agents: a CLI and an MCP server let Claude Code, Cursor and other agents create scenarios, upload builds and read results. - Findings can reach any other system with an API. ## Security, compliance and deployment - By plan: SAML SSO, SCIM, custom roles, audit-log streaming to your SIEM, deployment outside Minitap’s managed cloud, the uptime commitment with service credits and a named owner are Enterprise. Zero data retention on model calls is on request on Scale and Enterprise. Hands-on onboarding and a dedicated Slack channel come with every plan. - Support hours and first response: Support in a dedicated Slack channel, and on Enterprise a named owner in your Slack. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 CET, excluding French public holidays. First response on Team and Scale: P1 in 4 business hours, P2 in 1 business day, P3 in 2 business days. On Enterprise: P1 in 2 business hours, P2 in 4 business hours, P3 in 1 business day. - Model providers: Model calls go through OpenRouter to Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, ByteDance and Alibaba models. Zero data retention with the model providers is available on request on Scale and Enterprise. - Use of data: Minitap does not use customer content to train models, on any plan. Aggregated usage metrics, which identify no customer, are used to run and improve the service. - Never give mini production credentials, payment card data, health data (PHI) or children’s data. Use a staging environment and test accounts. - Enterprise access: SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning and workspace roles. - Enterprise auditability: Exportable audit logs and traceable test changes. - Enterprise data: Zero data retention on model calls, on request. - Enterprise deployment: On-premise, your cloud, a dedicated instance or our managed cloud in the EU or the US. - Enterprise support: Hands-on onboarding, a named owner in your Slack, a 99.5% uptime SLA and a first response to a P1 in 2 business hours. - Compliance: SOC 2 Type II audit in progress. Every user, build, recording and report is included, and the price is set on a call. - Most teams start with a pilot of about two weeks on their own app, and keep the suite mini writes. - Enterprise adds custom capacity, a dedicated instance or deployment in your cloud or on your servers, SAML SSO, SCIM, exportable audit logs, a 99.5% uptime SLA with service credits, a first response to a P1 in 2 business hours and a named owner in your Slack. - Plans compared: https://www.minitap.ai/pricing ## Proof - Customer results with mini: full regression from 2 days to 1 hour, full coverage in 48 hours, and releases from fortnightly to weekly. - 100M+ people use apps tested by mini. - Teams that ship with mini include Memrise, Nanogram, Impakt and Helmit. - mobile-use, Minitap’s open-source mobile agent, completed 116 of 116 tasks on Google DeepMind’s AndroidWorld benchmark. Google’s Artemis uses mobile-use. mini is Minitap’s newer, closed-source QA agent. ## Getting started - Book a demo: we run mini on your own app during the call. https://cal.com/team/minitap/minitap-get-access?overlayCalendar=true - Bring your app, test accounts and any existing tests or specs. mini writes your first suite, your team reviews it, and we connect it to your release process. - On Enterprise, we migrate your Maestro, Appium, XCUITest or Espresso tests flow by flow. - See a real run first, no signup: https://www.minitap.ai/demo - Docs: https://www.minitap.ai/docs - Customers sign in at https://app.minitap.ai ## Company and contact - MINITAP SAS · SIREN 999 165 327 · 25 rue Danton, 94270 Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France - MINITAP LIMITED · company no. 16860101 · 1 Temple Avenue, London EC4Y 0HA, United Kingdom - Contact: nico@minitap.ai ## Questions buyers ask ### We already have automated tests. Now what? Keep them. Hand mini the gaps and the manual checks. It writes, runs and maintains those tests. ### Can mini meet our security requirements? Enterprise plans offer on-premise or private deployment, SSO, SCIM and audit logs, with zero data retention on model calls on request. Our SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress, and we work through your security review with you. ### How does mini decide whether a test passed? Against the test’s acceptance criteria. Each verdict links to the exact moment in the recording, so your team can check the call. ### What about false positives and flaky results? Before mini fails a criterion, it rules out its own input, the network and the starting state. If our infrastructure hiccups, the test re-runs on a fresh worker. Every failure comes with the recording and a screenshot of the moment it broke, next to what mini expected. Mark it “Not a bug” once and mini won’t raise it again. ### What happens when my UI changes? A moved button doesn’t break a test, because mini’s tests have no selectors. When behavior changes, mini picks it up from your code, tickets or specs and updates the test for your team to review. ### Does mini run in our CI? Yes. Trigger runs from CI, a pull request or Slack. Results come back to your release workflow with recordings and steps to reproduce. ### What if the requirements are unclear? mini proactively asks your team in Slack, then reuses the answer. ### Can we chat with mini? Yes. In the app, ask mini about any report or finding, or ask it to cover a new flow. It answers with your app’s context. ### Does mini test accessibility? Yes, on every plan, for iOS and Android apps. Ask and we switch it on. mini audits every screen a run reaches against WCAG 2.2 A and AA, with the evidence behind each verdict. ### Which devices and browsers does mini use? iOS simulators and Android emulators in the cloud, plus real iPhones and Android phones on request. Web runs in Chrome and Firefox at desktop, tablet and mobile sizes, and in Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. Your plan sets how many run in parallel. ### What does getting started involve? Bring your app, test accounts and any existing tests or specs. mini writes your first suite, your team reviews it, and we connect it to your release process. ### How is mini priced? Plans depend on your coverage, platforms and run volume. We’ll scope the right plan around the journeys you want tested. ## Product - [Platform](https://www.minitap.ai/platform): Everything mini does: suite generation, mobile and web testing, PR checks, CI, real-world conditions, devices, reports, UI/UX suggestions, accessibility and integrations. - [Regression testing](https://www.minitap.ai/platform/regression-testing): mini writes, runs and maintains the full regression on iOS, Android and web, with a real run to click through. - [Accessibility testing](https://www.minitap.ai/platform/accessibility-testing): WCAG 2.2 A and AA audits of iOS and Android apps, included on every plan. - [Interactive demo](https://www.minitap.ai/demo): A real run on Minitap’s food-ordering demo app: 12 tests on iOS and Android, with recordings, a critical bug and fix prompts.
